Certus scientists Dusica Marijan and Sagar Sen together with Rakesh Shukla, Markus Borg, and Ye Yang, organize the 5th International Workshop on Software Engineering Research and Industrial Practice, held in conjunction with International Conference on Software Engineering 2018 in Gothenburg Sweden.
The goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss the current state of Software Engineering (SE) research and Industrial Practice (IP), and advance collaboration to reduce the gap between research and practice. The workshop had the record number of participants since its beginning, featuring distinguished keynote talks from leading experts in software engineering Dongmei Zhang from Microsoft Research Asia and Mark Harman from Facebook and UCL London.
